Homecare beds articulate, so the mattress has to bend with the deck; a regular household mattress won’t, and will damage the bed and the mattress both. These are built to flex at the head and knee break, in the 36″ x 80″ size homecare beds use. If there is any pressure-injury risk, look at the Group I mattresses instead — ask us and we’ll advise.
