A hemi walker is operated with one hand — designed for users with hemiplegia or one-sided weakness, typically after a stroke.
It gives far more support than a cane but only requires one functional arm, filling the gap between a quad cane and a full two-handed walker. The frame stands on its own and folds flat for transport.
