Battery-powered patient lifts raise and lower at the push of a button — no pumping, and no strain on the caregiver at all.
With a hydraulic lift the caregiver still pumps the handle through the whole lift; with an electric lift the actuator does everything. That matters most where transfers happen many times a day, or where the caregiver is older or has their own back or shoulder problems. Emergency manual lowering is included in case of power failure.
