The Spyder XL is the heavy-duty Spyder — a reinforced frame, wider seat and upgraded motors for a substantially higher weight capacity.
Running a standard powerchair above its rated capacity wears out motors and bearings quickly and can fail outright on a hill. The XL is engineered for the load from the frame up, with a wider seat for genuine comfort rather than a squeeze.
